You were absolutely fantastic and I really can’t thank you enough for the incredible job you did, it tasted absolutely delicious.  I would certainly recommend you to anyone getting married (or let’s face it, anyone who needs cake for any reason!) in Devon and I hope the below review will help if you want to use anywhere. We don’t have our professional photos back yet but some of my friends took some incredible shots which I have attached – feel free to use them on your website or any promotional material if you want? I shall let you know when we have the ‘professional’ ones! Rosanne of Rosanne Hollowell Cakes created the most incredible cake for our wedding in April 2013.  I loved the photos of cakes Rosanne had previously made, and after falling in love with the idea of a ‘naked’ cake, our focus was absolutely on taste and amazing flavours for our cake. I have been to too many wedding where the cake is hidden away, or barely noticed by the guests so we wanted out cake to take centre stage and be a delicious dessert for our seaside wedding. Rosanne warmly welcomed us into her farmhouse kitchen to taste some fantastic samples and we settled on a bottom layer of Lemon Drizzle with lemon buttercream and lemon curd filling, topped by a butterscotch and date layer with butterscotch frosting finally topped with Apple and Cinnamon with a cream cheese frosting. Yum! I’m hungry again just thinking about it. Rosanne coped admirably with the fact that we were trying to organise a Devon wedding from 6000 miles away in Singapore, and kindly delivered the cake herself on the day. Rosanne also worked directly with our flower lady Claire to source coral ranunculus to decorate our ‘naked’ cake. I have had so many compliments on our cakes, both on the day and for weeks after as friends and relative viewed our photos, and this is all down to Rosanne’s amazing skill. But the most important test was the taste – and it was incredible! Everyone loved it, to the point we had guests ferreting away second and third helpings the following days, and squirrel stores of cake hidden in luggage! Rosanne was an absolute pleasure to work with and I feel so lucky that we had her fantastic cake on the day.’  Rachel and James
